December 3rd Tweetathon
« on: December 03, 2014, 05:03:23 AM »

This Wednesday, ALL DAY, the #SaveShenmue campaign takes over Twitter in a global effort to revive Yu Suzuki's magnum opus, the unfinished Shenmue saga.

He wants to make it, we want to play it, but Sega refuses to fund it. That's why Team Yu needs YOU to tweet the hashtag and make yourselves heard on the 3rd!

It's your last chance in 2014 to make an impact together with a worldwide Shenmue fanbase, so make it count!

If you spent Wednesday under a large rock and missed out on the ever raucous #SaveShenmue Tweetathon, then fear not. We've compiled a recap collating some of the words, pictures and videos that flooded Twitter on December 3rd in the monthly effort to revive this unfinished series of games.

https://storify.com/TeamYu/saveshenmue-for-christmas

For the time it took to arrange the page, we're seethingly disappointed we couldn't select our own header image, and apologize for the fuzzy stretchiness of the one Storify chose by default...

Credit for the far more appropriate image on this post though goes to Rob Kidman, who seems to be right in tune with Ryo Hazuki's thoughts this Christmas.

The next Tweetathon - as if anyone needs to be told by now - is set for January 3rd. If you think you may be still recovering from New Year's by then, take no chances and guarantee your automatic participation via TeamYu.net/AutoTweet

Thanks again to all who took part this week, and since Ryo's started us off, why not let us know your own holiday wishlist in the comments?
