I might do. I have space on my shelf in my PS3 section for one more game, so I could do. I was waiting to hear about the PS4 version, though.

AdVenture Capitalist is fun. But it's just a massive sinkhole of time, you know? Like Cookie Clicker.

And no rush on those screenshots. I'm gonna have more free time in the coming months, so I'm not bothered right now. But you should have posted that as a little update on the thread. Then I could reply and have enough yen to buy James a drink. :P

Not to derail the thread with "Here's what I would be playing if I had the time," but...

Having bought it mainly for one or two games, knowing full well that it had no future in terms of new releases, I've come to really appreciate the PlayStation Vita and feel it deserved more support.

Here's what I've got loaded up for my summer holiday this year:

Power Stone Collection
Spelunky
Ape Quest
GTA: Liberty City Stories
Hotline Miami
Danganronpa 1 & 2
Crash Bandicoot
Retro City Rampage
Guacamelee!
The Walking Dead (Season 1)
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee & Abe's Exoddus
TxK
Frobisher Says!
WipEout 2048
The HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character
LittleBigPlanet
MotorStorm RC
Lemmings
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark
Thomas Was Alone

All of them acclaimed by critics or me, or both, and almost all downloaded dirt cheap.

I might possibly find a spare moment to see the sun, if it's out, but that depends on how quickly I finish Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies for 3DS...

Frobisher Says is awesome. I love the Wario Ware series, and FS is a fun little alternative. I'm always considering buying the DLC.

If you like games with empathy context, then head to: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/p/papoandyo_storefront and check "Papo & Yo". - It's on special offer for the next 24 hours or so. [Thanks James for sending me a heads up about it.]

Oooh, I have that on PS+. I just need to reactivate my sub.

I'm playing "Fatherhood". I've been playing for a little over 6 years now and thought I had mastered it... but I recently learned that some DLC is heading our way this December.

Yup. #Subtle

What is it with those Christmas release schedules, eh? It's like publishers set a date in the heat of the moment when the project's barely conceived, and then spend the next few months panicking their way toward a messy deadline. I mean, when was the last time we saw a stable launch? Jesus.

I've been playing Mass Effect. I've heard about it's storytelling with choices & consequences, how them affect the fate of an entire space. However, here comes the part I don't like. And I don't like it at all. The game design of "carrot and stick" is so inhuman, that I can barely ...stick with it. Indeed, it makes you to have the ...appetite to come back to it. However! At the same time, you think about the cost of that, because the stick pains... Therefore, it's like grinding to get to the point you most want. And that is the interactive storytelling. You have to spend energy and time to deal with nonsense action battles, moving in a geometric space while targeting and shooting, to beat some objects. What is the immediate reward of that? Nothing; unless you like to get your hands dirty, just for the sake of it. It's a barrier. It would be good to have some exciting moments. However! When it becomes not just that, but a barrier you have to bear, grind, and exhaust yourself mentally, psychologically and physically, then no. That's why the interactive entertainment design concept "Fully, Leisurely, Gently" is so human and appropriate.

And after that ...I played Hatoful Boyfriend! It looks like it's a visual novel for the jokes. However, no jokes have come to amuse, as of yet. Reviewers keep saying that at the end it gets serious (and some even cried), so that remains to be seen. But the story so far is not very engaging, so as to want to come back to it.

By the way, I've bought many games on Steam, that I know I'll never really play, but bought them for the Steam cards. Those cards make you money when you sell them. But in order to acquire them, you need to play the games. Therefore, some way must be followed to get the cards, but not play the games.

I started Fallout: New Vegas last night, after about 4 hours of trying to get it to work on Windows 10. But... after about 3 hours of playtime, I exited the game only to face an error message. It helpfully informed me that my game hadn't saved.

Ugh.

I've just reached the end of Life is Strange: Episode 3 ("Chaos Theory") and can't help imagining what it would be like if the game had been Shenmued at that moment. One hell of a hard hitting cliffhanger.

Fortunately I can move straight onto the next chapter this time.

I really want to play that. Might have to look at getting it...

Really P.O.ed about Fallout New Vegas not working on my PC (I keep getting the error "No storage device selected"); it's the only game I actually want to play right now. I've been looking at my shelf for games I haven't started yet (or have already cleared on another format), but they don't hold any appeal right now.

So, I'm playing Solitaire Live on Facebook. Go me.

Yes, life is strange like that, isn't it?

Subtle. And I totally would, but I'm broke. Hence why I can only look at my shelf. :/

I've been playing Scribblenauts Remix (on my Android phone). It's the next well crafted game I've played in 2015, next to Bejeweled 3. I spent time just by creating random objects (like, in a sandbox field) to interact with each other, and the results a lot of times were surprisingly amusing. The puzzles weren't that hard, and at first I was even motivated to complete them until to get that "crown" symbol. In the end, though, I lost the motivation to do that (probably because of the repetitiveness of the core challenge) and I focused on beating the levels just one time. To get a new "world" (and thus more levels), you have to pay (micro-transactions); therefore, so long.
