There have been a number of occasions where I haven't earned Yen for a post, either when replying to a thread or starting a new one. For example, the thread I just made called "What would you change?" didn't earn me any Yen.

Is this a bug, or is there a limit on the amount of Yen you can earn?

Note: This post also never earned Yen.

Ine-san has ran out of giving allowance, given the global economic crisis, that has affected Yamanose, too.

Yep. It's happened quite a lot. Don't want to be estimating though, in case you think I'm just trying to scam Yen.

When we added new code to prevent yen being awarded for double-posts, it also accidentally prevented yen being awarded for new topics. This has hopefully now been resolved, but do make sure to tell us if it's not still working as expected.

On a side note, new topics are now worth ¥75.

Glad it's been fixed. Hopefully I won't miss out on any more yen now.
