As well as reviving my Shenmuenopoly project, I've also decided to restart my Shenmue bead picture project. But this time, I plan to use midi beads as opposed to mini beads.


I really liked how the mini beads looked, and the size was also really good. Unfortunately, it must have been too big for those beads. As soon as I started ironing, the beads that fused together started to curl up, lifting away from the unfused beads. Other beads stuck to the paper, without fusing properly to each other.


So, I'm revisiting the project. The one I am making is for me. If anyone likes the finished project so much that they want one themselves, let me know.

I'm also planning a second one. You see, all the characters in the collage are Shenmue II. So... I'm gonna try and make a Shenmue I montage. I'm thinking Ryo, Nozomi, Goro, Fuku-san, Gui Zhang and Master Chen. But, of course, it will mean a lot of work designing them myself as I haven't seen VMU images of those characters.

Anyhoo, thought I'd share (I wanted more yen, too).
