Shenmue Chat / Shenmue 3D Printing
« on: February 14, 2016, 05:51:48 AM »
I am going to be getting my hands on a 3D printer soon, and I was just wondering if anyone had any cool Shenmue-related stuff that I could print? Obvious ones that come to mind would be the mirrors, the handguard, or other in-game items. What I would really like to do is a 3D bust of Ryo, and perhaps other characters. Since I am new to the realm of 3D sculpting, I thought I would ask if any of you are familiar with the process.

Congrats to all winners. Although, in a way, we're all winners, as we're finally getting to experience the next chapter of Shenmue.

At least, that's what I'm telling myself right now, to stop myself from crying. Well done, all.

I've spent the last week replying to ill-informed commenters about the whole thing. One guy even made a YouTube video to say he voted no because he wants his $500 reward to be more of a limited edition. Once I told him that the $500 reward is available to PayPal backers, he then got angry and started messaging me about YSnet lying about the results; he honestly thought that anyone who had pledged $500 via PayPal should get nothing in return! :/

Just read that earlier today. It was great to read about the origins of Team Yu, seeing the beginning of what ultimately was the driving force behind Shenmue III's announcement. Thanks!

Really disappointed with the outcome, on two different fronts.

1. How can people be so selfish as to say that they don't want anyone who backs Shenmue III to get certain rewards?

2. How can the answer with the least number of votes be the the one that gets picked?

By that logic, all you Americans should get voting for Trump so he doesn't get in.

Congrats to the winners. Only just seen this, as we've been in a blackout for about 30 hrs.

I can't wait to enter this. I'm just waiting for the ability to upgrade my original pledge.

Then again, I might just pledge another $60 anyway.

Shenmue Chat / Shenmue 500k PS4 community
« on: September 05, 2015, 07:47:07 PM »
I have it on very good authority that there has been created a 500k community using the PS4's new feature found in the new firmware 3.00 beta. Just so you know. Can't say any more. NDA. *whistles*

Yes, life is strange like that, isn't it?

Subtle. And I totally would, but I'm broke. Hence why I can only look at my shelf. :/
